grounds and maintenance committee

about us

The role of the grounds and maintenance sub committee is to oversee and organise working bees and ensure the general maintenance of the centre is upheld. It involves working closely with the co-ordinator and discussing areas that require attention and the means by which it can be fixed, renovated or replaced. This sub committee is also responsible for ensuring that all equipment that is required for working bees has been purchased prior to the day. For each working bee, at least one member from the sub committee will be required to co-ordinate, delegate tasks and mark attendances of families.

The sub committee will meet regularly and report to the main committee that meet monthly. Any repairs or alterations must be first discussed with the co-ordinator, then taken to the main committee for approval.
